The Subtle Anatomy

There are so many ways to understand the subtle anatomy. Some people think in terms of tan tiens and meridians, some of chakras and nadis. Some can see auras and some just get a general intuitive sense of someone’s spirit. The important thing is that you have a way to understand the energetic transformations that occur during Reiki treatments, because this understanding can help the client.

For level three, we will build on what we studied in the level one and level two courses. We now turn our focus to how each chakra relates to goals, rights, demons, and archetypes.1The information about the subtle anatomy is based on Richard Ellis’ book Reiki and the Seven Chakras and Anodea Judith’s Eastern Body, Western Mind..
